YB: It looks like Lob City will be retaining its main “lobber.” Superstar point guard Chris Paul has generally been the man passing to Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan for all those high-flying alley-oops highlights- and on Sunday he confirmed to ESPN’s Chris Broussard that he will be re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, forgoing any real free agency in the process. Teams can begin signing unrestricted free agents at 12:01 a.m. on July 1. However, those squads will have to look elsewhere for a point guard now that Paul has decided to take himself off the board.
As soon as they secured Doc, this was pretty much a done deal. The big question is how will the Clips look around him? Eric Bledsoe will probably be moved and if he can bring back a solid wing scorer and another big body, look out West.
